New root stand finished...rock & roll

I've just finished my root stand for use at the British Shohin Association show this weekend.

The stand is made from English elm and is 130mm diameter x 50mm high

The colouring and grain on the top is fantastic, it's a pity to cover it up with a bonsai.

I'll add some pictures of the stand in use after the show at the weekend, along with other pictures from the show.
I have a couple more pieces of this elm available if you'd like a similar stand making.
